UK law firm TLT has appointed Andrzej Wieckowski as a partner in its financial services regulatory (FSR) team, enhancing the assembly of a full service financial regulatory team.
Andrzej’s appointment follows a year of rapid growth for TLT’s financial services regulatory team driven by top regulatory lawyer Amanda Hulme who joined the firm in April 2024. In that time, the team has more than doubled in size and has been providing strategic and innovative legal guidance to TLT’s key financial services clients.
Joining TLT from PwC, Andrzej has a broad financial services background with over 11 years’ experience helping some of the top financial institutions in the UK, and abroad, navigate financial regulation. His career has seen him advising on regulatory requirements relating to banking, payments, and digital assets, including advising on new market infrastructure and digital asset space.
He has also worked alongside mass affluent, private equity, and investment clients as well as UK and international banks on group and product structuring, ring-fencing, and prudential matters, including advising on ring-fencing implementation. Alongside this, he has also acted as an advisor to public sector bodies, industry associations and regulators.
At TLT, Andrzej will work with financial services teams, utilising his broad experience to support clients in financial services, focusing on areas outside of retail finance and leveraging his expertise in wholesale financial services. He will be based in TLT’s London office.
Commenting on his appointment, Andrzej said:“The financial services landscape in the UK and internationally is being disrupted by the rise of smaller firms and neo banks, many of which will require specialist regulatory support and advice, which makes for a very exciting proposition for a FSR lawyer.
“TLT’s existing client base is incredibly strong, and I look forward to working alongside the team as we continue to undertake strategically significant work and build on our holistic, full service offering to the market.”

Amanda Hulme, partner and head of TLT’s financial services regulatory team, said: “I’m really excited to have added such significant strength to our financial regulation offering.
“In the last twelve months, TLT’s financial services regulatory team has gone from strength-to-strength. As well as enhancing the firm’s regulatory offering, we’re helping to take TLT on the next step of its growth journey for financial services clients.
“Andrzej is a well-known and well-respected regulatory lawyer embedded in the financial services sector. His insight into the regulatory market and his expertise working across the full FSR spectrum will be vital in helping our clients prepare for what comes next,” she added.
