The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) is inviting applications for two new board member positions, as the organisation looks to expand its leadership team to support continued growth in membership and activity.

The AFP, which currently has a 14-member board, is seeking two additional fleet operators to help manage its expanding workload and play a key role in shaping the future of the UK fleet industry.

Paul Hollick, Chair of the AFP, said: “The AFP is experiencing continued growth both in its membership and the scope of its activities. This is very welcome but is placing increased pressure on our board and we are looking for more experts to share the workload.”

He described the board role as “deeply rewarding,” offering opportunities to contribute to industry standards, lead new initiatives, campaign on key issues, and provide support to fleet professionals.

Fleet operators interested in applying are asked to submit a short biography (maximum 250 words), along with a statement explaining their motivation and the value they would bring to the board.

Completed applications should be sent to administration@theafp.co.uk by midday on 2nd May 2025. All applicants will go through a formal application process, including a membership vote. Prospective candidates are also encouraged to speak with current board members to learn more about the role.
