Global leasing company Alphabet has expanded into Ireland following an agreement with Avis Fleet Solutions.

The new venture increases its global network to 21 countries, covering Europe, Australia and China.

It will be launched via a cooperation agreement with Denis Mahony (Contract Rentals), trading as Avis Fleet Solutions, the third largest leasing company in Ireland and a member of the Denis Mahony Motor Group.

Rüdiger Ebel, head of new markets at Alphabet International, said: “Entering into a partnership with Avis Fleet Solutions to bring Alphabet’s products into the Irish market is the next logical step for our business.

“We already offer outstanding mobility solutions to many companies throughout continental Europe and in Great Britain, so crossing over to Ireland really makes sense for our company and for our international customers.”

Alphabet is a division of BMW Group and manages a multi-marque portfolio of more than 680,000 leased cars and light commercial vehicles.
