Our client is a global financial services business who are looking for a Wholesale Account Manager who has  a minimum of 3-5 years’ previous experience in a wholesale or vendor finance role working within soft assets and large value transactions. The wholesale account manager will need to be able to understand different contract types and structures and be able to work with other internal departments such as legal and risk.

In the role you will proactively manage a pipeline of business and proactively seek to grow share of wallet with the vendors. The candidate will need to be able to understand the financing requirements and ultimately close the sale of the financing agreements.

This is a hybrid role and the candidate will required to be a self-starter and motivated to deepen relationships with existing vendors but also be able to support and develop new accounts.  The relationships can be with Local and International vendors, which can be manufacturer, Distributors, Resellers, Brokers and end users in both Technology, Health care and Green asset categories. The candidate will be required to be in the office two days a week to build relationship with internal stakeholders, work collaboratively with Credit and Risk department as well as the Payout team to successfully structure processes and procedure to facilitate business.

The individual will work alongside the Wholesale sales manager and be required to drive sales opportunities from their set of vendors. It is expected you will  originate and structure  the relationship with vendors positioning the company’s USPs; handles the signature of a Trading Agreement when and if required; introduces the vendors and any specific process to the internal functions to facilitate business; manages the first proposals personally to help build a strong and trusty relationship with Partners and works collaboratively with the Sales Support function.
