My client is a car finance lender offering Hire Purchase and Personal Contract Purchase car finance, they are looking for a Commercial Director to join the team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives. Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities and market trends. Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and optimise sales performance. Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. Collaborate with finance to manage budgets and financial performance. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Provide regular reports on sales and marketing performance to the executive team. Essential Skills & Qualifications: 10+ years of proven experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role, demonstrating a successful track record of driving revenue growth. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. In-depth understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes. Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and analysing financial performance. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex challenges and make informed choices. Key Competencies: Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives. Leadership: Proven track record of leading and inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results. Sales & Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes, marketing techniques, and customer relationship management. Financial Analysis: Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable deals and contracts. Risk Management: Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to sales and marketing activities. Compliance: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
