Equipment Finance News Eric Miller to head up CIT Capital Equipment Finance Published: 30th March 2015 Share CIT Group has announced that Eric Miller has been appointed as its new managing director and group head of CIT Capital Equipment Finance. Miller takes over the role from Vincent Belcastro whose move to head up the equipment financing group at Santander was announced last week. He will report directly to Burt Feinberg, president and group head of CIT Corporate Finance, Commercial and Industrial. “Eric is an industry veteran with experience in leading origination teams focused on sourcing, structuring and executing middle market capital equipment financing transactions,” said Feinberg. “We’re pleased to have him lead this group as we continue to focus on growing this business and meeting the financing needs of our customers.” Miller said: “I look forward to leading a team that has long-standing relationships and deep industry expertise. Together we’ll grow our capital equipment finance franchise as companies look to expand capital expenditures, while market conditions continue to improve, in an effort to grow their businesses.” Prior to joining CIT Miller served as a managing director for GE Capital in their corporate finance division, developing strategies to successfully achieve sales and profitability objectives across a number of industries including construction, transportation, media and entertainment, marine, automotive, food-beverage & agriculture, plastics, metals, mining, energy, aerospace and defense and general manufacturing.
