Business Analyst – Cambridge/Remote, with extensive travel

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business objectives and technology solutions, with a focus on new client requirements and implementations. The ideal candidate will excel at analysing complex business problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems and data to identify areas for improvement
• Create detailed documentation including process flows, use cases, and requirements documents
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and facilitate workshops with various stakeholders
• Develop and maintain business models, process maps, and other analytical frameworks
• Perform data analysis and create reports to support decision-making
• Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders
• Work closely with technical teams (development and test) to ensure proper implementation of solutions
• Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure they meet business objectives
• Identify and analyze business risks and propose mitigation strategies

Required Experience:

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a professional setting
• 5+ years working within motor lending and servicing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques
• Experience with business process modeling and analysis tools
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration or related field
• Experience working with loan origination and/or loan servicing platforms
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent)
• Experience with SQL and database concepts
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools
• Basic understanding of programming concepts
• Six Sigma certification
