Business mobility provider Alphabet (GB) has appointed Paul Harkins to the role of Head of Broker Partnerships to continue its broker channel transformation through 2025.
Harkins brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and strategic expertise to his new position and will be supported in the coming weeks by Hollie Crumlish, who is soon to leave the role on maternity leave.
As part of his secondment from his regional development manager position, Harkins will now be responsible for the management and execution of a year of growth for Alphabet’s broker channel. This includes overseeing Alphabet’s soon-to-be-announced partner-plus event in September, to further enhance its business proposition.
It will follow Alphabet’s successful partner relaunch event in June 2024 from which the company presented its new vision for leasing broker partners and the introduction of a new broker scorecard.
Speaking of his appointment, Harkins said: “I’m thrilled to be taking up the role of Head of Broker Partnerships. I love the fleet industry and working closely our broker partners, so I’m excited to have the opportunity to bring my development skills and broker knowledge to this role.”
Richard Chadwick, Head of Indirect Sales at Alphabet (GB), said: “Paul comes into post at a time of huge transformation for our broker business. The sector is both a resilient and highly competitive place to be trading, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to continue to build upon the work we presented to our partners last year. PauI will be an asset in his new role as we continue to position Alphabet as a premium funder for our exclusive network of brokers.
“It’s important to recognise the work that Hollie [Crumlish] has undertaken, which has been fundamental to our achievements so far. On behalf of the team, I want to take the opportunity to wish her and her partner the very best with their new arrival. Like Paul, Hollie is an integral member of the team at Alphabet.”
