Auto Finance News New website launches offering cars and finance Published: 6th February 2018 Share A new website has launched in the UK offering thousands of new cars and finance from a panel of lenders. FairSquare is an independent platform established by a group of car enthusiasts in response to their experiences when buying new and used cars. It is led by CEO Paul Bartley, an industry expert with 30 years’ automotive experience, who is a former director and shareholder of Close Brothers Leasing, with previous roles also including European business development director for CIT Group and sales director for a major leasing company. Once customers have selected the car they are interested in and created an account on the website, they can start viewing potential finance offers. This is based on a ‘soft search’, which generates likely quotes from the panel of lenders without leaving a record on the buyer’s credit profile. The customer can then proceed with their preferred finance type and quote to obtain a final offer from their chosen lender. Only fixed commissions are paid to FairSquare by its finance partners with no other incentives, so FairSquare does not promote one finance offer over another.
