salary up to £75,000 + monthly paid commission with uncapped earnings. Realistic year one OTE c£125,000 depending on salary. Company car, life and health cover plus generous pension.

Our client a highly successful funder are seeking a Broker Manager to take over responsibility for the management and growth of the already highly successful sales area of the North East, Humberside and Yorkshire.

You will inherit a highly performing sales area already writing £1.5m a month with c20 supporting lease brokers on the area. Your role is to gain a greater share of each brokers business and also to seek to target brokers who may not already work with our client or who do so only on a tactical basis.

Our client have a compelling proposition for lease brokers encompassing financing both hard and soft assets, a wide deal size focus from £10K to > £1m coupled with a broad credit appetite leading to high acceptance rates and with fast turnaround times and payout.

Candidate Profile

Our ideal applicant is someone living east of the Pennines on the sales area itself, and who has experience of working with lease brokers either today as a Broker Manager or in the recent past as a Broker Manager and therefore is known to lease brokers on the sales area.

Those who are Broker Managers today who are located on the west side of the Pennines are also welcome to apply providing you are willing and able to travel regularly to the North East part of the sales area.

We are also willing to consider applicants with a strong and stable background in direct asset finance who may be working for a funder or a major broker today and who have the ability to transition to become a broker manager. In this instance you must be located on the sales area.

We are also willing to consider applications from those who are lease brokers and who wish to transition to becoming a broker manager. In this instance you must be located on the sales area.

Whatever you background you must have a depth of experience in mid ticket asset finance and across a range of finance products as this is not a flow role, the average deal size is £60,000.

You must have good credit experience to understand what is a viable deal and the skills to be able to add genuine value to your brokers in helping them win larger deals assisting with structure, credit etc.

Finally we are ideally seeking applications before 31st July 2024 as the intention is for our client to short list and conducts first interviews week commencing 5th August 2024.
