Volvo Group drives truck sales upwards

Volvo Group has announced its truck deliveries in North America rose by 22% in August compared with the same month the previous year, while the year-on-year increase was 31% up from 2013.

Volvo brand truck deliveries in North America totalled 2,246 in August, a 31% increase over the same month the previous year, when deliveries were 1,708. Year-to-date, Volvo brand truck deliveries reached 21,709, a 39% increase over 2013’s year-to-date figure of 15,565.

Mack brand truck deliveries of 1,649 in North America in August marked a 13% increase over the same month one year ago and a 22% year-to-date increase, at 14,839 in 2014 versus 12,167 in 2013.
