VIP Apps Consulting delivers credit system for VFS

VIP Apps Consulting has completed a credit system replacement project for Volvo Financial Services North America (VFS NA).

VFS NA, a provider of financial services for Volvo Group’s brands, sought to replace its 20-year-old credit system with a modern solution that would not disrupt its real-time integration with its Dealer Portal or ERP + Contract Management System (CMS).

VIP Apps Consulting’s proprietary DELIVER methodology was used to facilitate the project using Agile solution development with structured scope areas assigned to specific Iterations and timelines. The project involved a comprehensive landscape phase to establish the scope and approach, followed by an iterative implementation phase consisting of five iterations and one month of post-go-live hyper-care.

The successful go-live of the new credit system resulted in significant benefits for VFS NA, including: a technical leap forward for the VFS NA platform and alignment of the US and Canada businesses; increased efficiency through process simplification, automation, and integration; improved decision-making capabilities with automated credit scoring, approval tracking, financial spreading, and fleet scorecards; and enhanced customer experience with faster decisions and streamlined processes.
