Equipment Finance News PSA group moves into US car sharing Published: 13th April 2017 Share PSA Group is launching its first US mobility service with a car-sharing service for travellers at Los Angeles airport. The service will be provided by its mobility brand Free2Move and its partner Travelcar, a start-up founded in 2012. The new service is designed to optimize car usage for vehicle owners, with free or low-price parking, while car users are offered rental prices which are about 50% less expensive than a traditional car rental. PSA North America will be tasked with developing more services as part of a 10-year US project called “Push to Pass” which will roll out other car-sharing options across the country. Larry Dominique has been appointed senior vice president and head of the North American entity. He has spent more than 30 years in the US automotive industry, having worked at General Motors, Chrysler and Nissan. Most recently he was president of Automotive Lease Guide (ALG) and executive vice president of TrueCar.
