A major asset finance and leasing industry recruitment company has been recognised for the quality of its services following a comprehensive independent audit.

New Leaf Search, which specialises in delivering recruitment solutions to the industry, has secured its ISO 9001 certificate. It marks more than a decade of success in achieving the standards set by the International Organisation for Standardisation, which carried out a detailed assessment on the company.

ISO 9001 is the world’s most recognised quality standard for businesses, which proves their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of customers and other relevant stakeholders.

The standard is based on several quality management principles, including strong customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, the process approach and continual improvement.

Businesses must have a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement, leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

New Leaf Search was the first provider operating exclusively in the asset finance and leasing sector to achieve ISO 9001:2008 in 2007 and its latest award is its 11th year of continuous certification and marks it achieving the latest standard ISO 9001:2015.

Jane Theobald, recruitment director (pictured above), said: “The standard has recently been revised to incorporate changes that reflect the challenges faced by businesses in today’s commercial environment. The new requirements are far more rigorous and involved than the previous ones.

“The certification will cement our strong reputation in the industry and support our continued success, but it also helps raise the bar throughout the industry to improve the general perception of recruitment service providers.”

A focus on quality is important because choosing the wrong recruitment provider can be a costly decision to any hiring organisation, the company warns.

Katherine Amin (pictured at top of page), recruitment director for the New Leaf Search, which is also an audited member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, said: “There are several points to take into consideration when choosing a supplier, such as proven track record of success, positive referrals from key influencers within the industry and, of course, the quality and service promised and subsequently delivered. New Leaf Search genuinely wants to provide an exceptional service for its clients and candidates.”
