Auto Finance News Motors.co.uk announces partnership with Facebook Marketplace Published: 6th June 2018 Share Online car sales site Motors.co.uk, which offers more than 350,000 used cars for sale, has announced a new partnership with Facebook Marketplace to support dealer marketing. Facebook Marketplace is the social networking’s service for finding, buying and selling goods, which will include a showcase of vehicles under the new deal. Buyers can use location settings in Marketplace to find nearby goods, and Motors.co.uk dealers’ stock will appear in search results alongside private seller posts for relevant used car terms – such as specific makes and models. The UK launch follows the successful introduction of a service in the UK. Phill Jones, managing director of Motors.co.uk, said: “We are delighted to announce this new solution, which will help our dealers reach more online in-market car buyers through their relationship with Motors.co.uk. “This solution will connect our customers with more consumers who are already using Facebook to search for their next car – making both dealer engagement and the car search process easier.” Through its website and partnership programmes, Motors.co.uk has an audience of 5.1 million unique visitors per month. It is part of Cox Automotive, one of the world’s biggest providers of automotive services, with brands including Manheim, Autotrader.com, Kelley Blue Book, Dealer Auction and NextGear Capital.
