Liberty Leasing selects Lendscape’s platform for contract management

Liberty Leasing, an independent asset finance provider, has selected Lendscape as its new contract management system, marking a significant step in the company’s ongoing digital transformation.

The move reflects a broader trend among finance providers towards more agile, technology-led operations. By implementing Lendscape’s contract management platform — designed with APIs and AI-readiness at its core — Liberty aims to streamline internal processes, enhance customer service, and prepare for increased automation.

The new platform is being integrated with Liberty Live, Liberty Leasing’s proprietary customer management system. Together, the systems will form a connected infrastructure that supports faster payouts, more efficient workflows, and improved decision-making across the business.

“Our previous system limited the way we operated, and we needed a solution that put us in control and put our customers first,” said Alan Cooper, Finance Director at Liberty Leasing.

“Lendscape gives us exactly that — seamless integration with our other systems, an intuitive interface that’s easy for our teams to learn and use, and advanced technology that offers unrivalled flexibility and scalability.”

One notable factor in Liberty’s decision was access to Lendscape’s sandbox environment, which enabled Liberty’s developers to trial integrations and processes before fully committing to deployment.

Edward Ockleford, Head of Operations at Liberty Leasing, noted that the adaptability of the system was also key: “What sets Lendscape apart is its adaptability. Instead of being locked into a rigid system, we now have the freedom to tailor the platform to our precise requirements, using only what we need while having the ability to scale, innovate, and increase levels of automation as our business grows. It’s also incredibly intuitive our team found Lendscape easy to adopt from day one.”

The shift aligns with Liberty Leasing’s strategic focus on using digital tools to reduce complexity in asset finance and create a more responsive experience for customers and partners.

Lendscape, a longstanding technology provider in the finance space, views the partnership as a natural fit. “We’re thrilled to partner with such a progressive, innovation-driven business,” said Steve Taplin, Chief Product Officer at Lendscape.

“As an organisation that understands the power of automation and digitalisation, Liberty Leasing is embracing an API-first approach to staying agile and building a best-in-class technology ecosystem.”
