Leasing Professionals Julie Ramsay sells THC Recruitment to tech recruitment specialist Published: 24th November 2023 Share Julie Ramsay, founder of THC Recruitment and veteran of the asset finance industry, announced today that she has sold THC Recruitment, the business that she founded nearly 25 years ago, to a technology focused recruitment specialist. Julie will continue working in the business as a consultant whilst planning her retirement, and has also positioned the business for future growth, finding a new owner able to provide the tech-expertise that asset finance lenders increasingly require alongside the in-depth understanding of asset finance that Julie and her team have always been able to provide. “Tech has become an increasingly important element in the mix of recruitment needs for UK asset finance lenders,” she told Asset Finance Connect. “When I decided the time had come to retire, I wanted to find a new owner who could deliver that additional need for our clients, while my team delivered the asset finance expertise that has always been the hallmark of THC. Rajesh Dasari acquired THC Recruitment in October and has been working with Julie to manage a seamless transition. Dasari has worked in IT project management roles at Vodafone, London Clearing House, RBS, Barclays, LeasePlan, Brewin Dolphin, Legal and General; he has extensive expertise in building high-performing teams and crucially has the in-depth understanding of the technology requirements of asset finance companies as they digitalise. “Leading asset finance lenders are increasingly aware that they need great tech to support their team as they interact with customers. By finding the right technology talent we can help lenders get the best from their digital platforms and to deliver the next generation digital experiences that they want,” Rajesh told Asset Finance Connect. Julie established THC Recruitment in 1999 with her husband Mike, after stepping down from her role as National Accounts Manager for Pitney Bowes and spending time in the recruitment industry. THC has a well-earned reputation for understanding the needs of asset finance businesses. Under Julie’s leadership the business has thrived and grown. Her husband Mike, who focused on delivering industry training in a sister business, retired in 2020. Asset finance lenders wanting to meet Rajesh and to hear more of his plans for the business, and those who would like to say farewell to Julie can meet both at the Asset Finance Connect conference on 29th November.
