The Glasgow-based leasing and fleet management specialist topped the category for service levels to fleets operating up to 250 vehicles in the 2018 ExpertEye awards. Smaller fleets make up the majority of end-user vehicle operators. There are around 500,000 companies operating 250 vehicles or less in the UK, compared to just over 1,000 which have fleets of more than 250. Fleet Alliance managing director Martin Brown said: “Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and to receive this award again is further testimony to the hard work, efforts and endeavours of our customer-facing staff who are committed to ensuring we deliver outstanding service to customers.” The ExpertEye awards cover nine different fleet and automotive categories in total and results are based on scores from its fleet customer satisfaction benchmarking survey. Fleet operators are surveyed independently by ExpertEye, with the annual CSI award going to the company that has achieved the highest combined results across the entire year. ExpertEye chairman and founder Rick Yarrow said: “It’s a fantastic achievement by Fleet Alliance to win this award three times. “Rather than being awarded by a judging panel, this accolade is based on independent feedback we receive from customers. There is no better judge than the fleet operators themselves who use the services of contract hire and fleet management providers. “Having topped this category three times in the last four years proves what incredibly high standards Fleet Alliance is setting.” Fleet Alliance manages around 25,000 vehicles on behalf of corporate clients and last year was voted one of the best places to work in the UK for the fifth year in a row in the Great Places to Work awards. In addition to leasing companies, ExpertEye recognised dealer groups and manufacturers with awards, based on average scores for its driver satisfaction surveys that cover new vehicle sales and aftersales by obtaining feedback from more than 60,000 drivers of leased vehicles. Other award winners were: Ogilvie – customer service 250-plus vehicle fleets Volvo – best fleet proposition Skoda – most improved fleet manufacturer Lexus – best fleet dealer network (ordering and delivery) Lexus – best fleet dealer network (aftersales) Piccadilly Motors – best fleet dealer group (sales) Group 1 Automotive – best fleet dealer group (aftersales) HCCF – customer innovation award Yarrow added: ““With no judging panel, and no submission process, the winners are the companies that top their category based on customer and driver feedback.” Asset Finance Connect Asset Finance Connect brings you news and updates about UK and European auto, equipment and asset finance providers.
