Appointments Finativ deepens motor finance expertise with new hires Published: 29th July 2022 Share Specialist consulting and advisory firm Finativ has announced two new appointments as part of its continued growth into the motor finance sector. Mobility expert Simon Harris (pictured right) joins as consulting director, along with Peter Cottle (pictured left), a former chair of the Finance & Leasing Association’s Motor Division. After nearly thirty years of operational automotive and captive financial services experience, including Lloyds Bank, Daimler and Allianz, Harris has spent the last five years in consultancy and advisory roles for a number of OEMs and financial services clients, as well as their technology providers. He is a recognised market expert on mobility as a service business models, including related solution architecture and the challenges faced by finance providers, having advised some of the most progressive asset financiers on their servitisation propositions. Peter Cottle comes to Finativ from GrowCap where he was automotive sector practice leader. He has held commercial leadership roles in Lombard and Bank of Scotland with responsibility for a number of premium motor manufacturer and AM100 relationships. Cottle is actively engaged in the car-retailer and broker-introduced motor markets and has a strong understanding of the related commercial, operational and regulatory dynamics.
