Appointments FIBA appoints Liz Syms and Andrea Juniper Published: 25th May 2018 Share The Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA) has appointed two new members to its executive committee. Liz Syms, CEO of Connect for Intermediaries (pictured above), and Andrea Juniper, director of Only Bridging, have joined the new body, which builds on the foundations created by the Association of Bridging Professionals (AOBP) and aims to attract support from intermediaries and lenders across the lending spectrum. Executive chairman Adam Tyler said: “We are delighted to welcome Liz and Andrea to FIBA’s executive committee. “Allied to the expertise of our existing committee members, Liz and Andrea’s experience of the industry and strong profiles among advisers will be of immense value to FIBA as we aim to engage with advisers up and down the country this year.” Syms said: “I am very honoured to be chosen to be part of the executive committee and excited to join the team of extremely high-calibre board members. “As the CEO of a specialist network of buy-to-let and commercial advisers, I hope this experience will enable me to deliver on the FIBA mission statement to help support finance professionals to deliver outstanding solutions and services to their clients.” Andrea Juniper Andrea Juniper added: “FIBA’s importance is unquestionable and for me to play a part in continuing the great work already achieved, is a role I will take very seriously and look forward to working with the team. “I have observed the need for quality control and to a large extent the policing of our industry to be the most important attributes to ensure longevity and stability for both lenders and brokers/intermediaries.” Asset Finance Connect Asset Finance Connect brings you news and updates about UK and European auto, equipment and asset finance providers.
