Appointments Ex-Banking Works MD Louise Ikonomides joins QV Systems Published: 26th August 2021 Share QV Systems, the SaaS provider for the financing and leasing industries, has appointed former Banking Works MD Louise Ikonomides as strategic enterprise consultant, with responsibility for growing customer relationships and for developing the company’s technology offerings. Established in 2011, the company’s key offering is its Accelerate platform, a flexible, cloud-based system that streamlines and digitises lending and leasing processes for automotive and asset finance companies. Ikonomides brings over two decades’ technical and financial experience to her new role. She joins QV Systems after eight years as managing director of Banking Works, the specialist business and technology consultancy that helps new lenders grow, where she was closely involved in designing, building and managing major technology projects. Ikonomides began her career in leasing under a UK Japanese bank, supporting the sale of the lease portfolio to a consortium of investors. In 1999 she co-founded Virtual Lease Services to manage this portfolio, where she helped build the business before selling it in 2007. From here, she set up a North West office to focus on distressed portfolios and building out audit and consultancy services. In 2011, the business was bought via a joint venture, with Ikonomides remaining as MD from 2013 until her departure in 2021. “The financing and leasing industry is experiencing its digital transformation moment, with enterprises moving to centralised, digital platforms as many other industries have done so successfully,” said Ikonomides. “QV Systems is at the forefront of this revolution, and it’s an exciting time to be working with a disruptor in the market. “I look forward to using my experience in the technology and financial markets to grow our momentum and further develop the functionality of our platform. As digital unlocks new opportunities for every organisation, we’ll continue to develop deeper relationships with our current and future customers to help them take advantage of the digital revolution.” QV Systems CSO Rebecca Duckworth added: “Louise is a fantastic strategic addition to the team. She has a wealth of knowledge about the industry, unparalleled relationships with current and future customers, and has a thorough understanding of how businesses can use digital to open new opportunities and grow. She will play a central role in developing our services, delivery, operations and customer education as we grow over the years to come.” Pat Sweet Correspondent - Asset Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories Leasing ProfessionalsBibby Financial Services’ Mike Day and Age UK Leeds unite to spread festive cheer Thought LeadersBespoke pay-per-use procurement to ease NHS financial burden AppointmentsDavide Grasso appointed Stellantis Chief Heritage Officer
