The wait is nearly over—the Simply Cup Charity 5-a-side Football Tournament is back!

On Thursday, January 9, 2025, Powerleague Battersea will transform into the ultimate battleground for the asset finance industry’s finest as 30 teams from 27 businesses lace up their boots for an unforgettable day of sport, camaraderie, and giving.

This year’s event is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet, all in support of Cancer Research UK (CRUK). With only days to go, the excitement is reaching fever pitch as organisers, players, and supporters prepare to come together for a cause that unites them all: the fight against cancer.

A star-studded line-up

The Simply Cup 2025, sponsored by Acquis, boasts its largest roster ever, featuring returning champions and enthusiastic newcomers alike. Industry powerhouses such as Simply Asset Finance are entering two teams, joined by first-time competitors like United Trust Bank, Portman Finance, InterBay Asset Finance, Stephens and Haydock.

Adding a touch of inspiration, the Leasing Lionesses will once again take to the pitch with two teams, sponsored by Lendscape, FIS, Cordoba Rewards and LGB & Co., showcasing the inclusive spirit that defines this remarkable tournament.
