Collections Co-ordinator – Business Lending – Near Uttoxeter (Hybrid)

Our client is the financial services arm of a blue chip, global equipment manufacturer.  They are looking to appoint a collections co-ordinator to join their UK head office team reporting to the Collections Manager.

We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, results-orientated, and has relevant experience of working in asset finance collections or the credit management sector. (Knowledge of Consumer Credit Act lending is beneficial)

The role holder will provide customer service and support to all clients as well as being responsible for generating accurate MI, to support management of default, forbearance, termination of agreements, recovery of assets, and bad debt.

Typical daily responsibilities will include dealing with matured agreements, creating invoices, processing Worldpay card payments, HPI registration, producing MI for various processes including forbearance, vulnerable customers, producing assignment documentation for hire purchase and lease agreements, and more.

Required Experience:

• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (by phone and in writing, with external clients and stakeholders as well as internal departments).
• Financial and commercial awareness.
• Numerate, literate, with good analytical skills.
• Resilient, with a good phone technique.
• Calm under pressure, and empathetic, with the ability to work independently as well as being a supportive team worker
