Since their inception in 2022, Fin Mile has gone from strength to strength with a consistent number of delivery contracts. Due to this, the business needed to expand their fleet of zero-emissions vehicles by purchasing several Ford E-Transit vans and EAV cargo bikes. To fund this fleet expansion, the business approached Kingsley Smith, Sales Manager for Close Brothers Asset Finance’s National Accounts team. Working with the team at Fin Mile to understand the business, its goals for growth and plans for the future, Close Brothers Asset Finance suggested that the best product for the business would be a Hire Purchase agreement. By using Hire Purchase, Fin Mile could spread the cost of the fleet expansion into manageable instalments to suit their cash flow. As a result of the new finance agreements, Fin Mile has been able to acquire the new electric vehicles for their fleet. This has helped them meet the demand of their growing number of delivery contracts. Kingsley Smith commented: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Fin Mile to expand their eco-friendly delivery fleet. I’m very happy to be a part of their growth story and I look forward to seeing the business go from strength to strength in the future.” “Kingsley and the team at Close Brothers Asset Finance have been exceptional throughout our entire working relationship with them. We’re very happy with the outcome of our current agreements, as they have allowed us to continue to expand our delivery fleet, furthering our commitment to offering carbon zero deliveries.” commented Fin Mile Logistics Ltd.
