Sophie Roberts has over eight years’ experience in the funding sector, having previously worked for a well-known leasing solution provider. Sophie, who will focus on the south of England, said that she was looking forward to being able to show what she could do in the role. Demi Marsden has been in banking and finance for around 10 years, starting off as a lead generator before moving onto personal banking and then asset finance. Demi, who had been looking to join Close Brothers for some time, says the team she has joined is ‘always happy to help; nothing is too much hard work’. Her focus areas are the Midlands, Yorkshire and the Northeast. Simon Knox, Regional Sales Manager, said: “We’ve identified Lifting and Access as a key sector for us and our history of providing sector expertise is substantiated by the hiring of Sophie and Demi. “I’m delighted they chose to join us – getting talent of their calibre on board demonstrates just how seriously we are taking this sector by helping our SME customers grow and thrive, in spite of the many headwinds they are facing.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Asset Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories Leasing ProfessionalsBibby Financial Services’ Mike Day and Age UK Leeds unite to spread festive cheer Thought LeadersBespoke pay-per-use procurement to ease NHS financial burden AppointmentsDavide Grasso appointed Stellantis Chief Heritage Officer
