Appointments CIT appoints new head of Capital Equipment Finance Published: 24th March 2015 Share CIT Group has appointed Eric Miller as managing director and group head of CIT Capital Equipment Finance. He will report directly to Burt Feinberg, president and group head of CIT Corporate Finance, Commercial & Industrial. Feinberg said: “Eric is an industry veteran with experience in leading origination teams focused on sourcing, structuring and executing middle market capital equipment financing transactions. We’re pleased to have him lead this group as we continue to focus on growing this business and meeting the financing needs of our customers.” Miller added: “I look forward to leading a team that has long-standing relationships and deep industry expertise. Together we’ll grow our capital equipment finance franchise as companies look to expand capital expenditures, while market conditions continue to improve, in an effort to grow their businesses.” Prior to joining CIT, Miller served as a managing director for GE Capital in its corporate finance division, where he developed winning strategies to successfully achieve sales and profitability objectives. Industries of focus included Construction, Transportation, Media & Entertainment, Marine, Automotive, Food-Bev & Agriculture, Plastics, Metals, Mining, Energy, Aerospace & Defense and General Manufacturing. Miller received his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany.
