BNP Paribas 3 Step IT, a pioneer in circular technology management, is marking five years of empowering businesses to adopt sustainable, secure, and efficient practices in managing their technology.

Launched in 2019 as a strategic alliance between BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions and Nordic circular technology service provider 3stepIT, the joint venture was born with a clear mission: to help organisations transition to a circular economy for technology.

Over the past half-decade, the company has grown into a pan-European leader, operating in 11 markets, including France, Germany, Italy, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain, alongside Nordic operations in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.

Today, more than 3,000 businesses leverage BNP Paribas 3 Step IT’s services, revolutionising their approach to technology procurement, management, and disposal.

The cornerstone of BNP Paribas 3 Step IT’s success lies in its refurbishment centres, where used devices are given a second life and resold to secondary users. These centres enable businesses to minimise waste, extend the lifecycle of their technology, and reduce environmental impact.

In 2023, the UK refurbishment centre achieved record volumes, processing more devices than ever before. This milestone highlights the growing demand for secure and sustainable technology solutions.
