Godsmark, who has been consulting with the firm for over two years, will now join as a consultant partner and lead its advisory services offering. Jo Davis, CEO of Auxillias, expressed her enthusiasm for the appointment: “We are delighted with this appointment. “Paul’s extensive background and expertise make him the ideal candidate to lead our advisory offering. Paul’s contributions over the past two years have been invaluable, and we are excited about the leadership and insight he will bring to this new role.” A qualified solicitor, Godsmark brings a wealth of experience to the role, not only from a legal standpoint but also in managing operational risk and compliance matters in regulated firms. He holds the Institute of Operational Risk certificate in operational risk management, adding a practical edge to his advisory services. Over his career, he has spent a decade working as a solicitor and has held key positions in both private practice and in-house roles, including at Walker Morris LLP, Computershare Loan Services, and Novuna. Godsmark has advised clients across a broad spectrum of issues, from regulated and unregulated lending to wider regulatory compliance, covering topics such as FCA applications, regulatory changes like GDPR, SM&CR, and Consumer Duty, as well as outsourcing, commercial contracts, and governance arrangements. Reflecting on his appointment, Godsmark said: “I am thrilled to take up the opportunity to support Auxillias in further developing its advisory offering. “It has been a rewarding experience consulting with the team and working with some really wonderful clients over the past two years, and I look forward to helping shape further innovation in how Auxillias works and provides advice, to support clients in navigating the complexities of the regulatory environment.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Asset Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories AppointmentsFirst Citizens Bank names new vice president in equipment finance Corporate Member AppointmentsMike Freebury promoted at Time Finance AppointmentsAFPA Trust welcomes new trustees
