Invigors EMEA LLP, part of The Alta Group, has completed an agreement with Bucharest-based Diplomat Consult to represent Invigors in Romania.

Established in 2004, Diplomat Consult is headed by Adriana Ahciarliu. An acknowledged authority on asset finance in her country, Ahciarliu is also the secretary-general of the Romanian Non-Banking Financial Institutions’ Association and brings over 15 years of experience of that region to Invigors.

Ahciarliu has worked for international bank subsidiaries, as an advisor to the National Bank of Romania and departments of Central Government and was a board member of Eurofinas for three years.

Prior to Diplomat Consult, Ahciarliu was engaged in senior marketing & communications roles for BRD Sogelease (Romanian leasing subsidiary of Société Générale) and the Turkish Romanian Bank for three years. She has also acted as senior policy advisor and spokesperson for the National Bank of Romania as well as advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agreement with Diplomat Consult marks a significant strengthening of Invigors’ capability and reach in Eastern Europe. Ahciarliu commented: “I’m delighted that Diplomat Consult is joining the Invigors team and am looking forward to taking the Invigors brand to new markets. Eastern European countries such as Romania have undergone significant changes and are now poised for further growth.”

Commenting on the announcement, Chris Boobyer, senior partner at Invigors, added: “Adriana has deep knowledge of the Eastern European markets and is the acknowledged expert on local regulatory affairs. We believe that through this agreement the capability and reach of Invigors is further strengthened not just within Europe but also for the global Alta Group.
