A new sales aggregator service for UK auto dealers has been endorsed by the industry’s official body ahead of its launch.

Findandfundmycar.com will launch next year backed by MotoNovo Finance and will provide a new entry into the competitive aggregator website market.

As part of its development, the site will use all dealer income to build its brand and have standard pricing for dealers of all sizes.

Independent Motor Dealers Association (IMDA) chairman Jim Reid said: “The IMDA fully support MotoNovo’s entry into the aggregator website market via findandfundmycar.com, due to their fully transparent and fair pricing policy, their promise to reinvest the income back into public awareness and their full support towards long-term dealer sustainability; it’s very refreshing.”

The development of the service has been influenced by engaging with dealers and seeking their opinions.

Phil Morgan, head of findandfundmycar.com (pictured above), said: “The support and feedback from our dealer friends and the IMDA, as we shape the final launch proposition is very welcome; ‘for dealers, by dealers’ is at the heart of our proposition.”

The new classified platform is planned to go live in January 2018 with a major launch to consumers covering TV, radio, outdoor marketing and online marketing.

The launch adds to a focus on innovation at MotoNovo Finance, which was recognised this year with an Innovation in Credit Award at the 2017 Credit & Collections Technology Awards.

Competing with a wide range of fintech and financial services businesses from across the UK, the judging panel selected MotoNovo for its development of self-service capabilities, which are helping to make car buying and financing easier and more transparent.

Karl Werner, CEO of the MotoNovo Finance Motor Division, said: “This award is recognition of the skill of our team to imagine and then develop technology which is helping to reinvent the car buying and ownership journey.

“We aren’t resting on our laurels with the forthcoming launch of the ground-breaking findandfundmycar.com service due very soon. We hope this is as well received by consumers and dealers alike.”
