The UK Government has appointed Mike Hawes, Chief Executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), to the newly formed Board of Trade.

In this role, Hawes will work closely with the Secretary of State for Business & Trade and President of the Board, Jonathan Reynolds MP, alongside a distinguished group of board members representing some of the UK’s most successful businesses.
