CGI will be participating in the upcoming AFPA Trust Big Clays event on Wednesday, 23rd October, at the prestigious Clays venue, located at 55 Moorgate, London.

CGI’s team – the CGI Shooters – are eagerly preparing for a fun-filled evening of friendly competition, networking, and charitable giving.

The members of the CGI Shooters team are James Maxwell – Vice President of Asset Finance; Philip Benke – Director, Growth Team; Gordon Bush – Director, Growth & Innovation Automotive Lead; and Arsalan Shaikh – Senior Consultant.

James Maxwell, Vice President of Asset Finance, commented: “At CGI, we’re proud to support the AFPA Trust and take part in events like the Big Clays, where we can engage in friendly competition while contributing to a great cause.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring people together from across the industry to raise money for charity and strengthen our collective impact.”

Should the CGI Shooters secure a victory, their nominated charity is St. Michael’s Hospice, who provides compassionate care and specialist support for people facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and caregivers. Through a range of services including inpatient care, community support, day services, and bereavement counselling, St. Michael’s Hospice aims to improve quality of life and ensure patients receive dignified care in a supportive environment.

The AFPA Trust’s first-ever Big Clays charity event will gather teams from across the asset finance industry, offering a fantastic opportunity for participants to win up to £5,000 for their chosen charity, with the possibility of an additional 20% boost for AFPA Trust Charity Partners, raising the total prize to £6,000. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second and third-place teams.

With a focus on teambuilding, entertainment, and networking, the event is open to anyone connected to the asset finance industry, including colleagues, clients, brokers, and suppliers. Participants can register as full teams of four or individually, with AFPA Trust helping to pair individuals or pairs with other participants to form complete teams.

General admission is £150 per person, with a special rate of £120 for AFPA Trust Charity Partners, and entry includes food and drinks for the evening.
