Bluestone and Novuna announce digital collaboration

Share

Bluestone and Novuna Business Finance have announced a strategic digital collaboration with the aim of providing an improved service for UK businesses seeking commercial finance.

The collaboration went live on 25th September 2024 when the integration of Novuna’s API to Bluestone’s innovative end-to-end finance platform, the Bluestone Portal, was completed.

The integration means that funding applications made by UK businesses – either for themselves or their customers – run straight out of Bluestone’s system into Novuna’s application system with no complications.

Designed with user experience at its core, the Bluestone Portal is setting a new standard across the industry, the links and data flows are all automated, resulting in faster – sometimes instant – decisions on applications, marking a significant step forward in cross-company cooperation within the sector.

Customers can then complete the application process, including uploading necessary documentation, within the portal, resulting in an end-to-end funding experience.

Since launching in January 2024, Bluestone has established seamless APIs with a total of four leading lenders including Novuna, Siemens Financial Services, Investec Asset Finance and Quantum.

This latest partnership with Novuna is expected to benefit both companies by expanding their digital services and offering customers a feature-rich and integrated funding experience.

Matthew Colville-Foley, Head of Change Delivery at Novuna Business Finance, commented:

“This initiative reflects a new era of digital partnerships for Novuna by combining Bluestone’s technological innovation with our services, we’re creating value for the customer and pushing boundaries of what’s possible in the industry.”

Mark Hargreaves, Finance Director at Bluestone, said:

“We believe this collaboration paves the way for future innovation as an example of how brokers and funders can work together to improve the customer experience. As we continue to develop the platform, we will continue to invite more funders to offer their services via a direct API with the Bluestone Portal to drive industry progress in the digital age.”
