About Laura Crane:

Laura Crane’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. A professional surfer from North Devon, Laura entered the competitive surfing world at just 12 years old. By 15, she was living the dream, traveling the globe with major sponsorships. However, the pressure to conform to industry standards took a toll on her happiness and mental health, leading her to step away from the sport at 21.

After some time away, Laura returned to her roots, reigniting her passion for surfing. Now, she’s breaking barriers in one of the most challenging surfing environments on the planet. Her story is a testament to the power of resilience, self-discovery, and the importance of mental well-being—making her the perfect speaker for an event dedicated to the next generation of industry leaders.
