The team, comprising Kevin Billington, Jon Rose, Ryan Watkins, and Mike Quinn from Propel Finance, is geared up for a day of golfing and charity at the prestigious Berkshire Golf Club on July 25th. Meet the VIP Apps 4-ball team Kevin Billington: With no formal handicap, Kevin is set to take the highest handicap allowed, ensuring a competitive edge for the team. Jon Rose: Playing off a handicap of 16, Jon brings a balanced mix of skill and enthusiasm. Ryan Watkins: With a 16.5 handicap, Ryan’s consistent play will be pivotal for the team’s performance. Mike Quinn from Propel: Competing with a 23 handicap, Mike’s participation adds depth and experience to the team dynamics. Championing Seesaw charity The VIP Apps Consulting team has chosen to support Seesaw, a charity dedicated to helping children in Oxfordshire cope with the terminal illness or death of a parent or carer. The work of Seesaw is vital, as their director highlighted: “The majority of our service is funded by fundraisers, and we simply couldn’t provide our vital support services to bereaved children and young people in Oxfordshire without the amazing fundraisers we have.” VIP Apps Consulting aims to raise funds to help Seesaw continue their invaluable support. “As an AFPA Trust Charity Partner, we try to support as many events as we can, and it’s great that the Trust arrange such a variety throughout the year. Having a few golfers in the team made this one an easy one to sign up to. Our chosen charity, Seesaw, do great work helping children & young people through the loss of a parent, and some of our team have seen first-hand the difference their support can make. Anything we can raise to keep them doing what they do would be great,” shared Kevin Billington, Principal Consultant at VIP Apps Consulting. AFPA Trust BIG Golf: A day of competition and charity The AFPA Trust Charity Golf Day – The BIG Golf – will be held on July 25th at the Berkshire Golf Club, combining competitive golfing with charitable giving. Over £5,000 of charity cash prizes will be available at the BIG Golf event, with bonus winnings if the winners are also AFPA Trust Charity Partners. The event format ensures that winners, whether individual or team, can direct their winnings to their chosen charities, amplifying the impact of the event.
