People Simply Cup 2024 powers past £20k target as industry donations pour in Published: 14th December 2023 Share The Simply Cup 2024 has now raised over £20,000 for Cancer Research UK, exceeding last year’s total, with donations still pouring in. The Simply Cup 2024 boasts huge collaboration across the asset finance industry with 28 teams stepping up to support this important cause. Teams will be participating from: Simply, Novuna, Hampshire Trust Bank, Aldermore, Propel Finance, Ultimate Finance, DF Capital, Lombard, Paragon, Shawbrook, Funding Circle, Halo Corporate Finance Ltd, Audeo Financial Services, Crown Business Finance, Arkle Finance Ltd, Cynergy Bank, Acquis Insurance, Compass Business Finance, Shire Leasing Plc, LGB Capital Markets, Lendscape, Shoosmiths, Metro, Funding Xchange and Alfa. This year, the tournament will also include its first all-women, industry-wide, 5-a-side football team – the Leasing Lionesses – formed specifically for The Simply Cup. Through The Simply Cup, Simply Asset Finance have created the space for collaboration in the industry, while championing diversity and inclusivity, and raising funds for Cancer Research UK. Sponsored by Acquis, The Simply Cup will take place on 11th January at Battersea Powerleague. Initial group rounds were decided during a live draw on 5th December.
