Leasing Professionals TLT named a Top 50 Employer for Gender Equality by The Times Published: 25th June 2025 Share National law firm TLT has been named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality for the third year running, reaffirming its strong commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace. Run by Business in the Community, the annual list celebrates UK employers that are making gender equality a core part of their business strategy. TLT’s inclusion recognises the firm’s ongoing efforts to address gender imbalance at all levels, including initiatives such as flexible working, enhanced family leave, and inclusive leadership training. The firm has already achieved significant milestones, including reaching 33% female representation at partner level two years ahead of target. It has now set a new goal of 50% female partners by 2029. TLT has also been named one of the UK’s top 30 family-friendly employers by Working Families and is working with organisations like Family Friendly Workplaces and Wellbeing of Women to further its inclusivity agenda. In addition, TLT has reported a more balanced gender distribution across its pay quartiles, with increasing female representation in senior roles. This progress stems from the firm’s Gender Strategy, launched in 2019 in collaboration with its Women’s Equality Network, and overseen by a dedicated leadership taskforce. Helen Hodgkinson, Chief People Officer at TLT, said: “TLT’s inclusion in this list for the third consecutive year, places us well above any other law firm in the country when it comes to improving gender equality. “In 2024 we pledged to see 50% of partner roles filled by women by 2029, and we are well on our way to achieving that milestone. At TLT we see a world of opportunity for everyone who works for us. We are committed to supporting those with caring responsibilities to ensure they are given opportunities to thrive in the workplace. “At TLT we have an ambition to be valued for our values with our people-first culture setting the pace in the legal sector. I’m extremely proud of everything we are achieving. Thank you to everyone who has helped us achieve this milestone once again.” Business in the Community’s Acting Chief Executive, Kieran Harding, commented: “The businesses that have achieved Top 50 status in The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality this year have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to championing gender equality as a priority for their organisation. “Now, more than ever, employers must continue to take action on gender equality creating workplaces where employees reach their true potential. Success in a changing and volatile world demands diverse, inclusive organisations where all can contribute and thrive. Progress on gender equality isn’t just ‘good for women’ and wider society, it’s vital for business and its bottom line.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Asset Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories Leasing ProfessionalsAsset finance industry marches together at London Pride Leasing ProfessionalsYann Toutant on the future of as-a-service in equipment finance in new podcast episode Leasing ProfessionalsCarmen Ene talks circular economy, sustainability and diversity in tech in new AFC podcast episode
