Independent lender Time Finance has announced the appointment of Paul Rice as Business Development Manager within its Invoice Finance team, as part of its strategy to expand funding support for SMEs across London and the South East.

With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Rice brings a strong track record in Invoice Finance and Asset Based Lending, having previously held senior roles at Aldermore, Bibby Financial Services, and RBS Invoice Finance.

In his new position, Rice will be responsible for developing Time Finance’s network of introducers in the South, helping to expand the company’s reach beyond the 11,000 businesses it currently supports with tailored funding solutions.

“Finding the right solutions for business owners and helping to make a difference to the outcomes of their goals is why I love this job,” said Rice. “Time Finance has a great reputation within our industry, with a good appetite for credit and a full suite of products. I look forward to bringing this to my network and reaching more businesses with the solutions they need to grow.”

Rice’s appointment marks the latest investment in Time Finance’s Invoice Finance division, following the recent hires of Terry Wolfendale as Head of Sales (South) and Danielle Lynch as Relationship Manager.

Commenting on the appointment, Wolfendale said: “We are very pleased to welcome Paul to the team.

“Having worked together previously, I know first-hand the wealth of experience and energy that he brings to his work and to his clients. His knowledge of the industry and passion for helping businesses grow will be a great asset to the team as we continue to strengthen our presence across the South East.”
