Leasing Professionals The Leasing Foundation launches showcase for young achievers Published: 24th August 2021 Share The Leasing Foundation has begun a search for 30 high-achieving individuals, aged under 30 in the asset finance industry. Supported by Asset Finance International, the annual ‘30 Under 30’ list aims to recognise the industry’s exceptional young stars, showcase their achievements within the sector, and reward their drive, creativity and passion. Entry is open to any UK-based asset finance or leasing professional, aged 29 or younger on 30 September 2021, working for either a lender or a service provider. Entrants or their nominators should write a one/two page submission demonstrating at least two of the following points: Overall performance within their role. Tangible examples of coaching or inspiring other young people within the business. Driver of change or transformation within their business. Champions of D&I within their business. Involvement in promotion of the industry outside of their day job. Charitable activity. A judging panel of independent industry experts will decide who makes the cut. The list will be released and showcased at industry events during Q4 2021 Nathan Mollett, director of the Leasing Foundation and head of asset finance at United Trust Bank, commented: “Asset finance and leasing professionals aged under 30 can be nominated for inclusion in this new and prestigious list, which recognises those with the greatest potential to become industry leaders of the future – and those who have achieved greatness already. It’s high time that we celebrated and showcased high potential talent within our industry. Not only will this list motivate other young finance professionals, but it will also help attract new young talent to the sector.” Mike Randall, chair of the Leasing Foundation and CEO of Simply said: “The Leasing Foundation 30 under 30 is something that will take place on an annual basis to champion our young stars and inspire the next generation of professionals from all backgrounds.
