Structured Finance Director

salary range up to £120,000 + excellent bonus – realistic year two on target earnings are > £200,000 with excellent accelerators plus car allowance & all usual benefits.

Our client a leading financier are seeking a London based Structured Finance Director to join their expanding team.

Your role will encompass:

• Origination of new business across a wide variety of asset classes , with the sole exception of real estate for larger scale transactions , examples of transactions closed by the team in 2023 ranged from £5m to over £20m in size.
• Developing a network of introducers to achieve realistic volume and margin targets the size of which we will be happy to disclose to suitably qualified applicants
• Identifying prospects that seek our clients solutions , financial diversification , refinance etc
• Analysing financial and risk profiles of your prospects
• Analysing the strategic nature the assets , writing an investment case and supporting defending the proposal to the investment committee.
• In life monitoring of the portfolio , risk evolution of the customer , suggesting mitigants and or remedies to senior leadership if / when needed.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking application from those with the following experience / skills:

• You will be London based but be willing to travel nationally to fulfil the role.
• 8 plus years of origination experience in specialist finance , ABL lending etc gained with a corporate bank , private debt funder or similar
• Ideally Business school educated eg MBA qualified but if you meet all other criteria but do not have this background do apply
• Significant experience of working at CEO , CFO , COO level with customers closing larger scale transactions – those with a deal list that evidences success will be of particular interest.
• You will possess a network of introducers , customers etc and the capacity to re-leverage those existing contacts and customers in a new role.
• Strong analytical skills, credit risk management , financial analysis , deal structuring , documentation etc
• Strong attention to detail, ability to see the big picture, ability to summarise succinctly and clearly to senior management.
