Simply Cup 2025 scores big for Cancer Research UK

Last month, industry colleagues came together for an unforgettable day of football, connection, and generosity at the Simply Cup 2025, raising an astounding £26,457.75 for Cancer Research UK.

The event proved to be a heartwarming reminder of the incredible impact we can make when united for a great cause.

This year’s Simply Cup took place on January 9th at Powerleague Battersea, bringing together 30 teams from 27 businesses in the asset finance industry. Portman Finance Group emerged victorious, claiming the Simply Cup title by defeating Audeo in a hard-fought championship match, with Lendscape winning the Plate Award.

But the Simply Cup wasn’t just about football; it was about uniting the asset finance community for a shared purpose. The event brought players, sponsors, and supporters together, fostering a sense of camaraderie while contributing to a cause that touches countless lives.

Mike Randall, CEO of Simply Asset Finance, summed up the event’s impact: “The Simply Cup has once again shown us the power of community and kindness.
