Leasing Professionals Quizzing teams confirm charities for the AFPA Big Quiz Published: 17th May 2024 Share Four more quizzing teams have entered the AFPA Trust Big Quiz from Alfa, Catfoss Finance Limited, United Trust Bank and VitrX hoping to win the Rivermore Asset Finance donated AFPA Trust Big Quiz Trophy and £10,000 for their chosen charity. The AFPA Big Quiz 2024 will be held on May 23rd at the Royal Overseas League Club in Mayfair, London. Alfa will be supporting Change Please – an award-winning social enterprise which aims to end homelessness through selling great tasting coffee. Change Please gives 100% of their annual profits to the Change Please Foundation. These profits, along with other donations to the Foundation go towards training people experiencing homelessness to become baristas and supporting them with everything they need to turn their lives around. Catfoss Finance’s quizzing team will be hoping to win £10,000 for their chosen charity – Crohn’s & Colitis UK – who are making it their mission to fully understand the experiences of and fight for everyone affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. The charity wants to see improved lives today, and a world free from Crohn’s and Colitis tomorrow. United Trust Bank will be hoping to take home valuable funds for their two chosen charities – South East Cancer Help Centre (SECHC) and Wings for Life. Wings for Life is a not for profit nationally recognised foundation for spinal cord research, whose mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injuries. SECHC provides support to cancer patients in the South East and aims to give any person affected by cancer an opportunity to explore ways which may help them to cope with their situation. VitrX will be quizzing for Alexander Devine Childrens Hospice, a local charity that provides specialist care and vital support to babies, children, and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and into the surrounding counties.
