Lendscape has appointed Sean Scampton as Vice President of Sales – Equipment Finance, as the technology provider strengthens its presence in the North American market.

Scampton joins Lendscape with nearly a decade of experience in the equipment finance sector, including senior roles focused on market development, customer engagement and SaaS product launches.

He previously held a leadership position at Leasepath, where he helped scale the company’s customer base and expand its footprint across North America, the UK and Australia. His tenure culminated in Leasepath’s acquisition by Solifi.

A well-known figure in the equipment finance community, Scampton has worked with industry bodies on both sides of the Atlantic, including the National Equipment Finance Association (NEFA) and Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) in the US, the Canadian Finance and Leasing Association (CFLA), and Asset Finance Connect (AFC) in the UK.

His appointment supports Lendscape’s growth strategy in the US and reinforces the company’s focus on providing cloud-native, API-driven platforms for lenders and finance providers.

Commenting on his new role, Scampton said: “Lendscape’s global reputation as an innovator, deep equipment finance industry expertise, and truly modern and flexible platform are a winning combination that I’m excited to bring to North America. The industry has been waiting for something flexible and future-ready that can support practical applications of AI and also addresses classic problems; and Lendscape is that solution.”

Lendscape Chief Revenue Officer Gareth Evans said Scampton’s appointment reflects the company’s continued commitment to the sector:

“Sean is respected across the equipment finance community, not just for his track record of building successful platforms but also for his commitment to advancing the industry. His insight, relationships and customer-first approach will be invaluable as we expand our presence in North America and beyond.”

Beyond his commercial career, Scampton has played an active role in supporting industry initiatives. As a founding member of the ELFA Equity Committee and past chair of the NEFA Foundation Committee, he helped raise more than $120,000 for charitable projects within the equipment finance community.
