JG Pest Control, a UK pest control operator, has updated its fleet thanks to a new batch of Peugeot Partner vans from Glasgow-based fleet management and leasing company, Fleet Alliance.

The Uxbridge, Middlesex-based family-run business has operations in the Midlands, North West, East and South of England and provides a wide array of pest control services from bedbug eradication to mice and rodent extermination, bird and fox control and deterrence and many more.

The company’s highly trained and specialist operatives provide services to a variety of internationally renowned businesses including Tesco, Asda, McDonald’s and Holiday Inn as well as domestic premises.

As part of its development plans, the business needed to replace a number of ageing vehicles on its fleet of 62 light commercial vehicles to help expand its pest control operations.

It went out to market to secure a batch of seven new vans as quickly as possible and Fleet Alliance was able to provide the most competitive quote in the shortest time frame.

As a result, JG Pest Control has now been supplied with seven new Peugeot Partner Blue HDi 100PS Asphalt small vans, complete with a 1.5-litre 100ps diesel engine, six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive – a highly efficient model renowned for its fuel efficiency and practicality.

The new fleet additions have been financed by 48 month/120,000 mile contract hire agreements with a full maintenance management package covering servicing, tyres, MOT and breakdown recovery.

Chief operating officer, Callum Gale, said: “After deciding to expand our pest control operations, we found ourselves in need of replacing some ageing vehicles on our fleet to meet our expansion plans.

“During our tender process, we were introduced to account manager Fraser Murray from Fleet Alliance. He was fantastic – not only did he negotiate better terms than any competitor, but also ensured the vans were delivered in record-breaking time.”

The seven new vehicles have now been sign-written, and equipped with vehicle tracker devices for advanced vehicle security and theft protection so that they are ready to hit the roads.

Callum Gale added: “We have been incredibly pleased with the service from Fraser and the team at Fleet Alliance. Their efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless and, thanks to them, we are now better equipped to serve our customers across the country.”
