New Leaf Search has partnered with an international B2B finance provider to recruit a skilled Business Development Manager with experience in Marine Finance.

Following a successful UK launch, our client is expanding its marine finance business focused on the workboat market. This role is ideal for a highly motivated BDM with a strong track record in originating and structuring marine finance deals. You’ll work alongside specialist partners and independently generate new business, preparing credit submissions, managing internal and external stakeholders, and nurturing long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business and manage a growing pipeline of marine finance opportunities
• Work with introducers and directly source new leads
• Prepare detailed credit papers and support deal structuring
• Manage negotiations and ensure smooth transaction execution
• Represent the company at industry events and contribute market intelligence

Requirements:

• Proven experience in marine finance and asset-backed lending
• Strong credit, structuring, and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
• Commercial, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset
