Leasing Professionals Haydock renews backing for rising motorcycle star Harley Rushton Published: 25th June 2025 Share Haydock Finance has confirmed the renewal of its support for North Yorkshire motorcycle racer Harley Rushton ahead of the 2025 race season, following his breakout success at the Isle of Man in 2024. Rushton, 28, captured widespread attention last year with a landmark victory in the 2 Wheeling Classic Junior Manx Grand Prix – a defining moment in his career. Building on that momentum, he is set to return to the Isle of Man this year, taking on new challenges aboard a freshly prepared Allspeeds Supertwin machine in both the Junior Manx Grand Prix and Supertwin categories. He also plans to race in the Classic TT and make a special appearance at Oliver’s Mount in Scarborough on July 19–20, thrilling fans on his home turf at England’s only closed public road race circuit. The continued sponsorship comes through Haydock Finance’s employee charity scheme, which allows staff to nominate individuals, charities, or community organisations for meaningful backing. Rushton has been a standout choice since first being supported by the initiative, thanks to his growing reputation, relentless work ethic, and deep commitment to the sport. “Last year’s success at the Isle of Man was a dream come true,” said Rushton. “This season brings new challenges, especially racing a Supertwin for the first time, but I’m giving it everything. I’m so thankful to everyone who’s helping make this possible – especially Haydock Finance, who see the determination I have and have put their faith in me once again.” With six Classic Championships, four National Classic titles, and numerous podium finishes already under his belt, Rushton has steadily built a name for himself on both national and international stages. His ambitions for 2025 reflect not just personal growth, but a desire to compete at the highest levels of road racing. Haydock Finance, based in Blackburn, has long championed grassroots talent and community impact. The company sees Rushton as a powerful example of what can be achieved when potential is matched with opportunity. “We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Harley,” said Lea Lawrence, Marketing Manager at Haydock Finance. “His work ethic and drive to succeed align perfectly with our values. From his breakout win at the Isle of Man last year to his expanding ambitions in 2025, Harley is an inspiring sportsman and a true example of what can be achieved with dedication and support.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Asset Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories Leasing ProfessionalsAsset finance industry marches together at London Pride Leasing ProfessionalsYann Toutant on the future of as-a-service in equipment finance in new podcast episode Leasing ProfessionalsCarmen Ene talks circular economy, sustainability and diversity in tech in new AFC podcast episode
