Haydock Finance accelerates growth in high-value deals

As demand for large and complex funding solutions continues to rise, Haydock Finance is emerging as a key player in structuring and executing large, high-value finance deals, driven by deep sector expertise, agile underwriting, and strong broker partnerships.

Over the past year, Haydock has seen a notable increase in deals exceeding £500,000, particularly in refinancing transactions that help businesses consolidate debt, ease cashflow pressures, and retain liquidity in a cautious economic climate. The company’s ability to respond quickly and deliver tailored solutions has earned it growing recognition among brokers and clients alike.

In a recent standout transaction, Haydock structured a £1 million Sale & Hire Purchase Back facility for a regional taxi operator with complex ownership and cashflow challenges. The deal slashed the client’s monthly outgoings from £90,000 to £33,000, replacing costly agreements with a more manageable structure — all executed swiftly with coordinated effort across Haydock’s credit and operations teams.

To keep pace with rising demand, Haydock has made strategic investments in its internal systems, increasing automation thresholds and forming a dedicated large-deal team to manage complex, multi-asset transactions. This ensures end-to-end oversight, faster completions, and a seamless experience for brokers and customers.

“Today’s market demands more than off-the-shelf finance,” said Jon Hercman, Head of Specialist at Haydock Finance.

“Our ability to structure high-value deals with clarity, speed, and collaboration sets us apart — and the trust we’ve earned from our brokers is a testament to that.”

Recognising the critical role brokers play in identifying and structuring large deals, Haydock hosted two specialist forums in April, bringing its broker partners together with its ‘large deal’ team.

The sessions featured live case studies and practical insight into Haydock’s approach to underwriting, proposal review, and payout.

“It was an informative event and a great opportunity to meet the specialist team,” said Jemma Cleverly, Managing Director of Equipment Finance Wales. “Listening to some of the case studies and then discussing with the team and other broker attendees has given me a lot to think about.”
