Global mobility innovator Free2move has announced a milestone moment in its growth journey, achieving 99% compound annual revenue growth since 2021 and reaching profitability, while laying out an ambitious roadmap to transform future mobility.

The company’s impressive financial trajectory reflects a strategy that blends organic expansion with targeted acquisitions, driving scale, efficiency, and global reach in a rapidly evolving industry. Since turning profitable in 2021, Free2move has demonstrated its ability to sustain momentum while investing in long-term innovation.

A major contributor to this growth has been Free2move’s successful integration of acquired businesses — most notably Share Now, which was turned around within just 18 months following its acquisition in 2024. This marks another successful addition to Free2move’s growing portfolio and highlights the company’s ability to both integrate and elevate acquired operations.

Free2move has grown beyond the bounds of traditional carsharing. Its multi-vertical mobility platform now connects over 12,000 vehicles for flexible usage, from short-term carsharing to longer subscription-based rentals.

Through its SaaS platform, more than 3,600 franchise partners manage an additional 35,000 vehicles, while its broker business extends services to 150 countries, supported by over 500 global and local partners for rentals and digital parking solutions.

All services are unified in a single marketplace, enhancing customer experience and partner integration — and laying the groundwork for the mobility solutions of tomorrow.

Central to Free2move’s global success is its cloud-native, in-house technology platform, which has processed over 300 million transactions in more than 40 currencies. This modular platform powers operations across Europe and the US and is designed for future adaptability — including the integration of autonomous vehicles and urban air transport.

“Our vision goes far beyond simply expanding our footprint,” says Ahmed Mhiri, Co-CEO of Free2move.

“We see new horizons in autonomous vehicles, urban air mobility, and other emerging technologies—opportunities to unite them within a single, accessible platform. With our proven technology stack and strong operational foundations, we’re committed to shaping sustainable and smarter mobility solutions. Our goal is clear: making mobility more intuitive, adaptable, and environmentally friendly for everyone.”

Looking ahead, Free2move is positioning itself as a frontrunner in next-generation mobility, with plans to integrate autonomous technologies, urban air mobility, and other emerging innovations into its core platform.

As the company scales its services and solidifies its technological infrastructure, it remains focused on its mission: delivering smart, flexible, and eco-conscious mobility solutions to individuals and businesses worldwide.
