Collections & Recoveries Team Leader – Coventry area (Hybrid)

£55,000 – £57,000 plus Bonus and excellent Benefits.

James George Recruitment have partnered with a highly successful Asset Finance House, in their search for a Collections & Recoveries Team Leader. You will be responsible for managing and optimising C&R activities in order to minimise risk costs, optimising returns and deliver best-in-class service levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support training and development of department members providing mentoring and coaching where needed.
• Support and develop C&R members throughout the entire collections life-cycle, from early technical arrears through to litigation
• Engage with field staff to encourage voluntary recovery of assets and assign external recovery agents in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Preparation and submission of cases requiring external legal partner support
• Report on the level and impact of arrears to management and commercial teams

Requirements:

• Experience gained in the Asset Finance industry is highly desirable.
• You will have a minimum three years’ experience as a Collections team leader.
• Three years’ experience working in FCA regulated environment.
• CICM qualified (desirable)
• Must be able to commute to their office based near Coventry 2-3 times per week.
