Leasing Professionals Catfoss Finance announces team for AFPA Trust Big Clays Published: 10th October 2024 Share Catfoss Finance Limited has revealed the line-up for its team, the Catfoss Sharpshooters, set to participate in the highly anticipated AFPA Trust Big Clays charity event. The event, scheduled for Wednesday, 23rd October, will be held at 55 Moorgate, London, and promises to be full of fun, networking, and impactful fundraising within the asset finance industry. The Catfoss Sharpshooters team will feature a mix of company representatives and partners, including Mark Sanderson, Sales Director at Catfoss, and Ellese Green, Business Development Manager. Joining them will be a broker partner and one of Catfoss’ valued customers. In the spirit of collaboration and community, Catfoss is “mixing it up this time” by including participants from outside the company. This Big Clays event holds special significance for Ellese Green, as the team will be raising funds for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, a charity close to her heart. Ellese herself battled Crohn’s disease in her early twenties, and the charity played a vital role in supporting her through that challenging time. Having regained her health, Ellese has since participated in sponsored walks to raise funds for Crohn’s & Colitis UK, continuing her efforts to help others facing similar challenges. Mark Sanderson, Sales Director at Catfoss Finance, echoed the importance of supporting causes like Crohn’s & Colitis UK. “As a Trustee for several years and with Ellese Green being an Ambassador of AFPA Trust, the charities we support are very close to our hearts. It’s great to raise thousands of pounds within the industry for these very worthy causes,” he said. “Catfoss Finance has been a sponsor at most of the major events, and it has enabled us to meet lots of funders and brokers we might not have met otherwise.” The AFPA Trust Big Clays charity event offers an exciting opportunity for teams in the asset finance industry to compete for charity, with the top prize being £5,000 for the winning team’s chosen charity. For AFPA Trust Charity Partners, the stakes are even higher, as the winning prize will be boosted by an additional 20%, bringing the total to £6,000. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second and third-place teams. In addition to the competition, the event promises an evening of teambuilding and valuable networking opportunities. Open to colleagues, clients, brokers, and suppliers, the evening is designed to bring together all those involved in the asset finance industry. With a registration fee of £150 per person (or £120 for Charity Partners), the event includes not only participation but also food and drink, ensuring an enjoyable evening for all attendees.
